627 Street Lights Installed in Central Jakarta

Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency has installed public street lights at 627 locations during January to September 2025.

LED type with a capacity of 90 to 120 watts

Head of Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency, M Soleh said the 627 street lights were installed on neighborhood roads, residential alleys, and several collector roads spread across eight districts.

According to him, a total of 394 streetlights have been installed on neighborhood roads and residential alleys. Meanwhile, 233 streetlights have been installed on collector roads, divided into six packages.

"The public street light installation is part of a follow-up to the results of the Musrenbang, City Council members' recess, and requests from RT and RW administrators," he said, Tuesday (10/7).

     

Soleh explained that for local roads and residential areas, the lights installed have a capacity of 50 watts on seven-meter-high poles.

Meanwhile, 233 public street lights installed on collector roads are spread across Cempaka Putih District, including Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah II and XXX, Jalan Pramuka Sari - Jembatan Serong at 43 points.

Then in the Johar Baru District, precisely on Jalan Percetakan Negara II, there are 35 points, Sawah Besar District on Jalan Karang Anyar there are 41 points.

Furthermore, in Menteng and Tanah Abang Districts, they are spread across Jalan Blora, Cilacap, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Pasuruan, Hos Cokroaminoto and Jembatan Tinggi, with a total of 78 points, and in Senen District, namely Jalan Kwini I and II, there are 36 points.

"The installed street lights are LED type with a capacity of 90 to 120 watts," he stated.
